Buff Kavelman has been invited to serve on the expert Selection Committee for the 2016 New York Community Trust Nonprofit Excellence Awards. Now in its 10th year, the Awards program teaches, recognizes and encourages outstanding management and governance practices among the New York metropolitan area’s large and diverse nonprofit sector. The Awards highlight the enormously important roles played by New York nonprofit organizations in enriching and improving our lives and communities. They are a collaborative effort of The Nonprofit Coordinating Committee, the New York Community Trust, and Philanthropy New York, sponsored by WNYC Public Radio.
